REGISTRATION INFO FOR THE 24/25 SEASON

*PLEASE NOTE* - OMAHA central zone U13 Tier 1 tryouts will start May 2-5, 2024. Round two will take place Aug 16,17,18. U18/U15 Female A central zone tryouts will also take place Aug 16-18 and registration will be done through KMHA, not OMAHA.
*PLEASE NOTE* - U11 Integrated & Female Development, U13 Tier 2,3,4, and U13 fem rep tryouts will begin Saturday August 24th 2024 to August 30th. Tryouts ice times will take place during the day and into the evening so plan accordingly. We provide two non-evaluated skates on Aug 24th and 25th. Evaluated skates will be Aug 26th to 30th. Commitments and re-grouping will happen after Sept 1st and round 2 of tryouts will continue right after Labor Day.
*U15/U18 KMHA rep tryouts will begin after Labor Day Sept 3 2024.
*All KMHA U7 to U18 recreation evaluations will begin mid-September. U7 and U9 will potentially begin the Sept 7th and 8th weekend. Teams are formed and schedules are set after evaluations. Games begin in October. The season runs until mid-March.

*U18 rec over age players cannot register online, they must send an email request to play to Steve execdir@kelmha.com. If there is space in U18 rec when registration closes at the end of August, Steve will apply to BC Hockey for the over age player. Other requirements contribute to BC Hockey decisions, ie: age, suspensions, rec or rep history etc. No late fees apply to over age players once they are approved to play.
For OMAHA AA, Tier 1 and BC Hockey AAA information, please read below...
BC Hockey, OMAHA and KMHA tryouts are all independent. You do not need to register for AAA tryouts to try out for AA. You do not need to register for AA or U13 Tier 1 to tryout for KMHA tier 2, 3 or 4. If you try out for BC Hockey AAA and don't make the team you will still need to pay the tryout fee for OMAHA AA to tryout for central zone. If you tryout for OMAHA central AA or Tier 1 and are released, then the tryout fee still needs to be paid to KMHA for tier 2,3,4. The only exception is if the last couple of releases from AA are still in the AA tryout process past the first 5 KMHA tryout sessions (2 non evaluated and 3 evaluated skates). At that point the players would join the Tier 2 tryouts with no additional tryout fee. If you are registered for U13 Tier 1 or U15/U18AA tryouts, DO NOT register for KMHA tier 2/3/4 tryouts unless you are released, no late fees are charged to OMAHA AA/Tier 1 releases, the June/July rate applies.

U13 T1 tryouts are independent, the KMHA tryout fee still applies if you are released from zone tryouts. OMAHA U15/U18AA REGISTRATION
*OMAHA is now accepting permission to tryout forms for the 24/25 season. As per the OMAHA website, U15AA and U18AA tryouts will take place in spring May 17-19 and August 16-18. Forms and fees are to be sent to Sherry Wakelin swakelin@omahahockey.ca (it states on their website that they take e-Transfer or credit card). Registration deadline is April 24th, late fee in affect if registering after the 24th. Late registration fee is $375

REFUND POLICY
Kelowna Minor Hockey's refund policy is as follows:
All Refunds are subject to a $50 admin fee
Rep and Development tryout fees are refundable up to the tryout start date less a $25 admin fee
Refunds are pro-rated monthly to November 30th
Refunds are as follows:
Prior to September 1: Registration amount minus $50
September 1 - 30: Registration amount minus $162.50
October 1 - 31: Registration amount minus $275
November 1 - 30 Registration amount minus $387.50
GOALTENDER POLICY
KMHA reserves the right to limit the number of goaltenders per division. Players wishing to participate in our programs as a goaltender MUST make their position request clear on their registration, failure to do so will result in you being unable to play that position should we have more than 2 goaltenders per team in your specific division.
