Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available through various agencies for players requiring assistance for minor sports. If you have applied for assistance, please communicate your application status with the KMHA registrar registration@kelmha.com . In general, funding programs do not cover the full cost of registration fees. Also, make sure you are registered for the current season if applying for funding. The funding companies do check if the applicant is registered before they consider the application.

"The Grindstone Award Foundation is a registered Canadian Charity that enables young female players to participate in the sport of hockey. The foundation supports the community and addresses the needs of players who have the desire to play, but are unable to for financial reasons. https://grindstoneaward.com/
The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund was created in response to the many families experiencing financial challenges. The goal of the Fund is to help Canadian youth access hockey and play the game they love.
