KELOWNA MINOR HOCKEY ALUMNI SELECTED IN WHL 2017 BANTAM DRAFT

The WHL held its annual Bantam draft on Thursday May 4th in Calgary.

Three players that have played in the Kelowna Minor Hockey system were drafted.

Jack Finley was selected in the 1st round, 6th overall, by the Spokane Chiefs.
Tanner Brown was selected in the 2nd round, 24th overall, by the Vancouver Giants.
Jalen Luypen was selected in the 9th round, 180th overall, by the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Congratulations to these 3 young men on their selections. It takes a tremendous amount of hard work, dedication and talent to be drafted by a WHL team. This is one step of many as you continue your journey towards your hockey dreams. Kelowna Minor Hockey is proud of you and wishes you continued success!
