EARLY REGISTRATION FOR KMHA MEMBERS IS OPEN
Kelowna Minor Hockey is offering all Returning Players from the 2016/2017 hockey season the opportunity to preregister for the upcoming 2017/2018 season at our early registration rate. Fees will go up by $105 for all members on July 4, 2017. Online Registration is available for members opting to pay by Visa or MasterCard. Those wanting to pay by cheque, debit or cash will need to visit the KMHA office in Memorial Arena (hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 – 1 pm). Registration can also be mailed in or dropped off – please include a ‘Returning Player Registration Form’ found under KMHA Info/Forms when using this process.
Once again this year we are supporting A4K (Athletics for Kids) by asking our members to consider a $5 or $10 donation when registering – these funds are then forwarded to A4K who help children who may not be as fortunate as some – A4K appreciates all the help they have received from our members over the years.
Players wanting to tryout for the Bantam and Midget Central Zone Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams must register online or at the office with KMHA. When registering Online these players need to only choose ‘2017 Central Zone Bantam or Midget Tier 1 & 2 Tryouts’ and there will be no fee paid online. The $225 Tryout Fee will be collected by BC Hockey (KMHA will post that information as it is given to us – check our website). Players at the Bantam or Midget level wanting to only tryout for the Tier 3 team will have that option when registering with the cost of Tier 3 tryouts of $75. Players released from the Zone Tryouts will be reassigned to KMHA Tier 3 at no extra fees. Tier 3 Tryouts are independent of Zone Tryouts.
KMHA will post more details on the Central Zone Tryout process as BC Hockey makes it available.
Carding fees this season will be determined when the rep practice schedules are finalized.
Online Registration Instructions:
A parent or guardian of a player follows the link to the online registration system managed by Hockey Canada. If you did not register your child online last season, you will be required to create an account with a username and password. You do not need your child’s Hockey ID number to register them, but it will appear beside your child’s name once you add them to your account. It is a good idea to know this number, so please make a note of it. If you do not see your child’s name, make sure the spelling is correct as some players have been registered as short form or nickname – i.e. Robert, Robbie or Rob. Unless you would like all correspondence (receipts, ice times, etc.) to go to your child, please do not include their email address in the online registration information.
When registering for Atom Development Tryouts, Peewee Rep Tryouts, Bantam and Midget Female Rep Tryouts, Bantam Tier 3 or Midget Tier 3 Tryouts, you will need pay the mandatory registration fee and also check the Tryout fee. All players from Atom and up will be asked to pick a position (this is for ease of scheduling evaluations and can be changed at a later time if necessary).
Please make sure you check-out at the end of the registration process, otherwise the registration will not be complete and your child will not be registered. To confirm that your child’s registration was successful, make sure that you print an Invoice for the 2017-2018 season. If you cannot print an invoice, then the registration did not go through. You can also email email@example.com to confirm that the registration was successful. If you have forgotten your password you will need to create a new account as clicking on ‘Forgot my Password’ doesn’t get replied to from Hockey Canada.
