KMHA MINI STRIDE LEARN –TO- PLAY PROGRAM IS HERE!!

KMHA Mini Stride learn-to-play hockey program is designed to introduce kids and families to the game in a fun, convenient and practical way.

The KMHA Mini Stride Program is an 8-week program for kids ages 6–10 who are not currently registered in Kelowna Minor Hockey. The program will be offered on two separate evenings, and the cost is $150 per player. No previous hockey experience is required.

This program will teach the fundamental skills that will provide the self-confidence needed to enjoy the game of hockey.
Players will learn all the fundamentals of the game.
• Skating – Stride development, starting, stopping, turning and agility
• Puck Control – stick handling and controlling the puck while skating
• Shooting – wrist, backhand and snapshots
The program consists of instruction, interesting games and activities, all leading up to playing hockey games.
Program #1 – Monday’s 5:30-6:30 pm
• January 2nd to February 27th , 2017 (no session February 13th)
• Session cost: $150.00 per player

• January 4th to February 22th, 2017
• Session cost: $150.00 per player
