Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available through various agencies for children requiring financial assistance for minor sports.  If you have applied for assistance, please communicate your application status with the KMHA registrar.

"The Grindstone Award Foundation is a registered Canadian Charity that enables young female players to participate in the sport of hockey. The foundation supports the community and addresses the needs of players who have the desire to play, but are unable to for financial reasons.  https://grindstoneaward.com/

 

The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund was created in response to the many families experiencing financial challenges. The goal of the Fund is to help Canadian youth access hockey and play the game they love.  The Assist Fund will provide up to $500 per player in registration fee subsidies to approved applicants who are registered with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned association.  https://assistfund.hockeycanadafoundation.ca/en/page/apply.html
